Ingredients
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
6 eggs (large)
2 cups milk
1 loaf Pepperidge Farm Original white bread (1 lb loaf)
maple syrup
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. In a 9" X 13" baking dish, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon to make a paste to spread over the bottom of the dish. Remove crusts from bread and layer 2 slices of bread, using smaller pieces to fill in the sides. Beat the eggs and add the milk. Pour this over the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight or several hours. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Drizzle maple syrup on the top and brown under the broiler until brown and bubbly.
