Caramel Corn 59 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 popped popcorn (3 1/2 quarts 14 cup )
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
Place popcorn in well greased pan. In large heavy saucepan, melt butter, stir in sugar, syrup and salt. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda. Pour syrup over popcorn and stir well. Bake at 250° for 1 hr. Stir every 15 minutes. When cool separate kernels, store tightly covered.
