Homemade Noodles Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 Egg Yolks
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons salt (opt.)
Directions
Measure flour into bowl; make a well in center and add egg yolks, whole egg and salt. Mix egg into flour with hands. Add water, a little at a time. Add enough water to form dough into ball. Turn dough onto well floured cloth-covered board; knead until smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes. cover, let rest 10 minutes.

Divide dough and roll out into rectangle. Cut into strips, lay out and dry.

Cook in 3 qts. water or chicken broth 12 to 15 minutes or until tender.

Serves: 6 cups (10 oz.)
