The sweet flavor of sweet corn can be enjoyed year round with this amazing freezer corn recipe. Make a whole bunch and store in your freezer during those winter months.

Ingredients
  • 8 cups sweet corn kernels
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter
Directions

In a large pot, bring corn, water, salt and sugar to a boil.

Add the butter. Boil an additional 2 minutes.

Cool and freeze.

To serve, heat in a saucepan until heated through.

NOTE: Depending on the sweetness of the corn, less sugar may be used.

"Nothing is better than getting that sweet tast of summer sweet corn in the winter. I made this last night. I skipped the sugar since the corn I used is super sweet. I can't wait for the winter...hopefully the corn makes it til then :)"
