Dressing For Cole Slaw Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 gallon vinegar
  • 3 quarts water
  • 36 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup celery seed
  • 1/2 cup mustard seed
Directions
Boil 1 minute. Cool overnight. Layer dressing and cabbage in large 5-gallon pails. Cover and let stand in a cool place until needed for the dinner. Works to make it Friday for dinner on Sunday.

Covers 40 pounds of cabbage/carrot mixture
