Fruit and Fruit Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 apple, cubed
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits, drained with juice reserved for sauce (20 ounce can)
  • 1 can mandarin oranges, drained (20 ounce can)
  • 1 package frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed and sliced (24 ounce pkg)
  • 1 package frozen red raspberries (12 ounce bag)
  • Sauce
  • 6 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 container Cool Whip
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine apple, pineapple, oranges, strawberries, and frozen raspberries.

SAUCE:

Heat juice, sugar, and flour until slightly thickened. Mix in beaten egg. Cook until thickened. Add Cool Whip. Remove from heat. Chill. Serve with fruit over pound cake.
