Apple Butter 15 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 quarts applesauce
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 3/4 teaspoon cloves
Directions
Combine everything and put in a covered baking dish. Bake at 225° until it reaches the desired thickness, about 3 hours. Put into jars. Process in a boiling water canner for 5 minutes.
