VENISON ROAST 3 Recipe

Ingredients
  • Venison roast
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Garlic cloves
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or celery soup
  • Bacon slices
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
Directions
Cut bacon into small pieces. Cut slits in roast and stuff each slit with garlic and bacon pieces. Season with salt and red and black pepper to taste. Place in roasting pan and cover roast with overlapping slices of bacon. Cover pan and place in 350°F oven. Combine cream soup and onion soup mix. Do not dilute. When juice begins to cook out of roast, spoon soup mixture over roast. Recover and cook until meat is tender and done. When desired doneness is reached, uncover and cook a few more minutes to brown.
