Creamy Ham and Noodle Casserole Recipe

The perfect way to use some of your leftover ham. This recipe allows you to enjoy your savory ham a second time. The broccoli and red peppers add just the right touch of flavor to this ham casserole.

Ingredients
  • 16 ounces linquine pasta or egg noodles
  • 1 pound broccoli florets, 4 cup.
  • 2 jars Alfredo pasta sauce - 15 oz. jars
  • 2 cups cubed leftover ham
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2/3 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease the bottom and sides of the 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • In large pot cook noodles according to package directions until almost tender, adding broccoli during last 3 minutes of cooking time; drain.
  • Stir in sauce, ham, 1 cup cheese, red pepper, milk and pepper; transfer to the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake until browned and bubbly, approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

"We had Easter last weekend at my in-laws and my mother-in-law sent home leftover ham. I made this recipe last night with some of it and the casserole was delicious. My kids even liked it, especially with the creamy linguine. This was a great way to use the leftover ham."
