CAVATINI 21 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups pasta (rigatoni, rotini, mostacolli work well)
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 onion, chopped (small)
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 3 ounces pepperoni
  • 32 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (I use a little more)
  • 8 ounces Mozzarella cheese
Directions
Cook and drain pasta, al dente'. Brown beef, onion and pepper; stir in pepperoni. Cook until heated through; drain and add sauce. Put 1/2 pasta into well greased 3 qt. baking dish. Layer pasta, sauce, cottage cheese and 1/2 Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers omitting cottage cheese on second layer. Bake uncovered 30-35 minutes in 350° oven.
