Homemade Pulled Pork with Shredded Slaw Recipe

Ingredients
  • Pork Loin
  • Water
  • 1 container pork rub
  • 1 bottle your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 package shredded slaw
  • 1 container slaw dressing
Directions
Unwrap the pork loin and rinse off slightly, then take the Pork Rub and rub it

into the whole Pork Loin. You may have to cut it in half to fit in your Crock-pot. Place the Pork Loin into the Crock-pot, putting in just enough water to cover the bottom. Let it slow cook for approximately 6 hours, once it is done pour the juice that is in the Crock-pot into a container and save it. The pork will now shred easily in the Crock-pot. Once it is shredded add your favorite BBQ sauce to it until it is the consistency of pork to sauce that you like. Also add back some of the juice that you took out earlier, it holds a lot of the pork flavor and rub. Mix together well and let it sit for 20 minutes to infuse the flavor. While you are letting the shredded pork sit grab a bag of shredded slaw and some slaw dressing. (I use Marzetti Slaw Dressing) Pour the shredded slaw into a bowl, and add the slaw dressing to taste mixing well. By making your own slaw it won't be too mushy or watery on the sandwich. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes then put the pork onto your favorite bun, put a nice scoop of slaw on top and enjoy!
