Swedish Sausage Stew Recipe

  • 1 1/2 pounds pork sausage
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup onions
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 pound potatoes; peeled and cubed
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Brown sausage. Remove from pan, melt butter, sauté onions 5 minutes. Blend in flour. Stir in broth until mixture boils. Add sausage, potatoes, carrots, salt, and pepper. Bring to boil, cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
