Comora's Turkey Mornay Recipe

  • 1 package frozen broccoli florets, cooked slightly and drained (large bag)
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 3/4 cups milk or half and half
  • 1/4 cup White Wine
  • 1 1/2 cups Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
Place broccoli on the bottom of a greased oblong baking dish. Layer turkey on top of broccoli. In saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour. Cook over medium heat for 1 minute. Whisk in milk and wine. Cook and stir until sauce thickens. Add Swiss cheese and stir until melted. Pour this over the turkey. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. This is a good way to use up that leftover turkey.
