Rosettes of Beef Recipe

  • 8 slices Fillet Steak (small slices)
  • 1/4 pound Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Brandy
  • 1 chopped onion (large)
  • 1/4 pint Cream
  • 1/4 pint Beef Bouillon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Melt butter in fireproof casserole with a tight fitting lid. When hot add the beef. Heat the brandy and pour over the meat. Set alight and leave to burn out over medium heat. Add onion and cover with cream and bouillon. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Arrange on plate and pour sauce over.
