Hamburger & Vegetable Hot Dish Recipe

  • 2 pounds hamburger, browned
  • 6 raw potatoes, sliced (large)
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 3 onions, sliced (medium)
  • 3 uncooked carrots, sliced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 green pepper, sliced (large)
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes (large can)
In medium roaster pan, spread browned hamburger and then layer: sliced potatoes, rice, onions & carrots. Pour tomatoes & juice over all this. Mix 2 cans water with the 2 cans of soup. Salt & pepper to taste and put sliced green pepper on top. Bake at 350° for 1.5 to 2 hours.
