Hamburger Macaroni Casserole 2 Recipe

  • 1 1/4 pounds hamburger
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2/3 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 cups dry macaroni
  • 1 cup cornflake crumbs
  • 1/4 cup margarine
Brown hamburger and finely chopped onion and drain. Cook macaroni until tender and drain. Add to hamburger the remaining ingredients except crumbs and 1/4 c. margarine. Simmer 10 minutes. Add drained macaroni and mix. You can eat as is or mix crumbs with melted margarine and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350°F until heated through or place under broiler and brown the crumbs lightly. Makes two casserole dishes or one large pan.
