Ingredients
1 load French Bread
8 eggs
3 cups milk
4 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping
2 tablespoons butter, cubed
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions
Cut bread into cubes and place in a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. In large bowl beat eggs then add milk, sugar and vanilla, stir together. Pour mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Serve with syrup.
Serves: 8-10
