Mock Swedish Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground round or turkey
  • 1/2 cup dry whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion , chopped (small)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
Directions
Combine first 5 ingredients and mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and then brown in skillet. Put into a 12x9 inch baking dish. Cover with a mixture made from the soup and buttermilk. Bake in a 360° oven for approximately 35 minutes.
