Stuffed Bell Peppers 12 Recipe

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 package Lipton onion soup mix
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar and Monterrey jack cheese
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce can)
  • 1 can tomato paste (6 ounce can)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 6 bell peppers, cored and parboiled (medium)
Brown ground beef with onion soup mix. Add tomato sauce and tomato paste. Stir well. Add 1 cup (1/2 cup cheddar and 1/2 cup Monterrey jack) of shredded cheese to ground beef mixture and mix well. Drain peppers. Put into baking dish. Fill with meat mixture. Top with remaining shredded cheese and bake.

Bake at 350° just until cheese melts.
