Ingredients
1 package biscuits
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup sliced Mushrooms
2 ounces pepperoni slices quartered
1/2 cup pizza sauce, plus additional for dipping
1 egg, beaten
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or foil; set aside. Separate dough into individual biscuits; set aside. Roll out each of remaining biscuits on lightly floured surface to 7 inch circle. Top half of each circle evenly with cheese, mushrooms, pepperoni and sauce, leaving 1/2 inch border. Fold dough over filling to form half- moon shape; seal edges with fork. Brush tops with egg. Split remaining biscuit horizontally and cut each half into 8 strips. For each sandwich, roll 2 strips dough into spirals to create eyes. Divide remaining 2 strips dough into 7 pieces to create noses. Arrange eyes long straight edge of each sandwich; place nose between eyes. Brush eyes and nose with egg. Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm with additional pizza sauce.
