Best Stew Ever! Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds stew meat, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 28 ounces tomatoes
  • 14 1/2 ounces beef broth
  • 1 onion. sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 3 cups potatoes cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 cups baby cut carrots
Directions
Toss beef with flour.

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add beef and cook until meat is browned.

Add tomatoes, broth, onions, pepper and thyme. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 45 minutes.

Add potatoes and carrots. Return to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer an additional 45 minutes or until potatoes are cooked.
