Pork Chops Pizzaiola Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 Pork Chops 3/4 inch thick
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 green peppers, cut julienne
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 Italian sausages
Directions
Rub chops with salt, pepper and garlic. Heat oil in skillet, brown chops on both sides. Add tomato sauce, wine, oregano, green peppers and mushrooms. Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes or until pork is tender. If sausages are used, brown them and add to skillet 10 minutes before end of cooking time.
