Roast Beef Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 pounds boneless rump roast
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
  • dash garlic powder
  • bay leaf
  • green peppers, sliced
Directions
Brown roast in 450 oven for 30 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients except green peppers. Pour over roast. Lower oven temperature to 350, cover and cook for 3 hours. Add green peppers last 30 minutes of cooking time. Best if sliced and refrigerated overnight.
