Round Steak Casserole 2 Recipe

  • 1 1/2 round steak (cut into 1/2 inch cubes)
  • 1 onion (chopped) (medium)
  • 6 potatoes (sliced) (small)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 3 margarine
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 3 carrots (sliced)
Brown meat in margarine on all sides. Place 1/2 of meat in casserole and add 1/2 of vegetables. Repeat with balance of meat and vegetables. Dissolve bouillon cubes in 1 1/2 C. boiling water and pour over meat and vegetables. Cover and bake in 325° oven for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
