BEEF BURGUNDY (DIABETIC) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds top round steak
  • 1 can mushrooms (3 ounce can)
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut steak into 1 inch cubes.

Brown meat slowly in skillet sprayed with vegetable pan spray.

Transfer to 1 1/2 quart casserole, tight fitting cover.

Add remaining ingredients. Stir well.

Cover and bake 15 minutes longer or until tender.

Serve on rice or noodles.
