Braised Short Ribs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 long beef short ribs (4 1/2 lbs 3 inch )
  • 2 cups dry red wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher or sea salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 can diced tomatoes inch juice
  • 1 can button mushrooms (6 ounce can)
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
  • 8 sprigs Italian parsley
  • 2 bay leaves
Directions
Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper, and place into the slow cooker. Pour the wine over meat and add tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, garlic, Italian parsley and bay leaves. Cook for 10 hours on low.
