Stuffed Bell Peppers 6 Recipe

  • 4 bell peppers (large)
  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce can)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter (separated into small pieces)
  • 1 cup water
For stuffing, combine ground beef, white rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and butter. Mix thoroughly.

Wash bell peppers and cut off tops and core out inside of bell peppers. Discard tops and inside of bell pepper. Spoon stuffing into bell peppers and place in a 9 x 9 deep baking dish. Add 1 cup of water to bottom of dish. Bake covered, in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
