Beef Burritos Recipe

  • 6 pounds beef roast (chuck or arm roast)
  • 4 cans chopped green chilies
  • 1 onion, chopped (medium)
  • 3 fresh or canned jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 cup beef broth
Trim fat and cut meat into large chunks and put into crock pot.

Add the rest of the ingredients and cook 8-9- hours

Put meat on a plate and shred, using two forks.

Remove liquid and thicken with 2 tblsp cornstarch.

Put all back in crock pot until heated.

Put in flour tortillas.

Serve on the side:

Chopped onions


Shredded cheese
