Orange Chicken 3 Recipe

  • 6 Chicken Thighs
  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper, if desired
  • 3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger, if desired
  • 1/3 cup orange marmalade
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
In large skillet, brown chicken in margarine. Season with salt and pepper. Mix and add remaining ingredients. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, about 25 to 35 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.

Tip: to bake in oven, brown chicken and arrange in 13" x 9" pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Peach or apricot preserves may be substituted for orange marmalade. Serves 6.
