A kitchen utensil designed to keep carbonated can contents from spoiling or losing their fizz. Beverages such as beer or soda that are traditionally sold in 12 ounce cans can use a Can Cover or a Can Keeper to prevent the fizz from escaping the can. There are different types of Covers that are manufactured for this purpose, all built to be easily opened for access to the contents. Some Covers are produced as a stopper or cover that inserts nicely into the perforated holes in the can. Others include pumps that can be depressed to remove re-pressurize the air in the can. The base of the Can Covers that contain built-in pumps fit firmly around the can and are equipped with release snaps to keep the Cover in place or removed easily.
