Knish  
A baked or fried dough that is generally stuffed with savory ingredients such as potatoes, cheese, meats, vegetables, rice, and beans. Sweet stuffings may also be added so this food may be served as a dessert or breakfast food as well as an appetizer or a main dish. Originating in Middle Eastern countries or the Ukraine, a knish may also be referred to as a knysh.
