Dill  
An herb which belongs to the parsley family of plant, that develops fine feathery leaves from a single stalk. Sweet and slightly tangy in flavor, Dill has the best flavor when used fresh but dried Dill is often used when the fresh herb is not available. Dill is used in many dishes, but it works especially well with fish and seafood. It also pairs well with eggs, poultry, pork, lamb, and a variety of vegetables such as beans, cabbage, carrots, and potatoes. Dill is often used as an attractive garnish for food platers, food servings, soups, and eggs.
