Barbequed Ribs - Recipe

These ribs are baked in the oven until tender and then finished on the grill for a boost of flavor.

Barbequed Ribs Recipe
Directions
RIBS:
  • Peel off the thin layer of tissue on the underside of the ribs if it is there.
  • Place in shallow pan with meat side up. Cover lightly with nonstick foil.
  • Bake for an hour and a half at 300 degrees F.
  • Baste with sauce, cover lightly with foil again, and bake another hour to hour and a half until very tender.
  • Place on grill over medium heat. Baste with the sauce. Grill for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
SAUCE:
  • Combine ingredients in a small saucepan.
  • Simmer covered at least 1 hour.

    Container: Shallow roasting pan or large baking sheet.
    Ingredients
    - RIBS:
    -2 or 3 full racks of pork ribs
    - SAUCE:
    -6 tablespoons minced onion
    -3 tablespoons butter
    -1 cup ketchup
    -3 tablespoons vinegar
    -3 tablespoons brown sugar
    -1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
    -1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
    -1/8 teaspoon salt
