Caramel Apple Pie - Recipe

A slight twist to the crumb topped apple pie, with a little bit of caramel in the filling. It is as delicious as the classic apple pie, maybe more so.

Directions
Line pie pan with pie crust.

In a large bowl combine sugar, flour and cinnamon.

Add apples and vanilla; toss to coat.

Transfer to pastry lined pie pan.

Combine caramel apple dip and milk; drizzle over apples.

For topping, in a mixing bowl combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter and sprinkle over apples.

Bake 350 degrees F for 50-55 minutes.

Remove from oven.

To serve, top with additional caramel apple dip and ice cream.

-1 cup sugar
-1/4 cup flour
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-7 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, sliced
-3 tablespoons caramel apple dip
-3 tablespoons milk

-1 cup flour
-1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
-1/2 cup butter
