Pork Chops in Milk Gravy - Recipe

This has the whole meal in one pot. The longer it cooks, the better it is. The creamy milk gravy is the perfect complement to the pork chops and potatoes with the carrots to sweeten it up.

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • In a large skillet, melt bacon grease over medium high heat. Brown seasoned pork chops on both sides. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and saute onions until slightly caramelized, approximately 8 minutes.
  • In a large casserole dish, layer potatoes, carrots and onions. Place pork chops on top.
  • In the same large skillet, reduce heat to medium. Melt the remaining butter. Add flour and cook until smooth, approximately 1 minute.
  • Add milk and poultry seasoning, stirring constantly until thickened. Pour over pork chops.
  • Cover casserole dish and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

-4 cups milk
-1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
