1.) Cook milk and dates over low heat 2.) Add pecans, stirring all the time (this will thicken and turn light brown) 3.) Spread on Ritz crackers and place on a cookie sheet 4.) Bake 5 minutes in a 250F oven, let cool 5.) Mix together sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla, spread on top of crackers(this is the next layer or icing) Makes about 85. |
