Cream margarine in mixer bowl until light. Add brown sugar gradually; mix well. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt together. Stir into creamed mixture. Fold in oats, candy and pecans. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. I prefer parchment paper on my cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 12 to 14 minutes.
