Directions

Combine all ingredients together in a shallow dish, except the bread.
Dip the bread slices into mixture, coating well on both sides. Do not drench.
Cook in a well-oiled, hot pan on both sides until crisp.

-		2 tablespoons butter - melted
-		1 egg - lightly beaten
-		1/2 milk
-		1/8 teaspoon salt
-		1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
-		1 teaspoon vanilla - optional
