Applesauce Oatmeal Cookies with Raisins - Recipe

Soft and cake-like oatmeal cookies that are the perfect snack. Not too sweet either.

Directions

Mix and sift flour, baking soda, salt and spices.

Add remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth, about 2 minutes.

Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes.

-		3/4 cup shortening
-		1 egg
-		1 cup sweetened applesauce
-		1/2 cup raisins
