Homestyle meal that will put a smile on your face. i serve these over mashed potatoes and top it off with some corn. This is just as good over egg noodles, too.

Meatballs & Gravy Recipe
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine ground beef, green pepper, onion, saltines and egg. Season with salt and pepper. Roll into balls. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown meatballs on all sides. Place meatballs in a oven-proof pot (that can also be placed on the cooktop to thicken the gravy) along with soup and mushrooms. Cover and bake in oven for 30 minutes. Over medium heat on cooktop, place pan with meatballs. In a small glass combine milk and flour. Add to meatballs. Stir until thickened to desired consistency.

-1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
-1/2 cup onion, chopped
-2/3 cup saltines, crushed
-1 egg
- salt and pepper
-2 cans beef consomme condensed soup
-1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
-1/4 cup milk
-2 tablespoons flour
