Directions
Cut tofu into 8 slices and layer on the bottom of an oven-proof casserole dish. Heat oil in pan and sauté meat; drain fat. Add onion, bamboo shoots, and mushrooms. Add remaining ingredients. Heat through and pour over tofu. Pour beaten eggs over mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions.
 
 
Ingredients
-1 container tofu (drained well, overnight better) (20 ounce container)
-1 tablespoon oil
-1 pound ground pork or chicken
-1 onion, sliced (small)
-1 can shoestring bamboo shoots, rinsed and drained (small can)
-4 dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked, rinsed and sliced thin (medium)
-1/3 cup chicken broth
-2 teaspoons sesame seed oil
-1/4 cup sugar
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-1 tablespoon sake
-3 eggs, beaten
