Grilled Herb Tuna Steaks - Recipe

Grilled Herb Tuna Steaks Recipe
Directions
  • Preheat grill to medium.
  • Coat the tuna steaks with oil.
  • To make rub, mix together thyme, salt, and lemon pepper in a small bowl; sprinkle generously on skinned sides.
  • Just before placing fish on grill, place soaked herbs on the burner. Place the fish on top of herbs. Grill 3-4 minutes (depending on the thickness) each side, just until seared on the outside but rare in the middle.
  • Garnish with Rosemary or thyme.
  • Serve with rice and grilled vegetables.

Ingredients
-4 Tuna steaks (about 1" thick)
- Olive Oil
- FOR THE RUB:
-2 tablespoons fresh thyme, minced
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon lemon pepper
-2 bunches of fresh thyme, soaked in cold water for 15 minutes and drained
