Easy Chicken Noodle Casserole Recipe

Chicken and noodles mixed with a savory mushroom sauce is a popular chicken dish for everyone.

Easy Chicken Noodle Casserole Recipe (+)

Directions

In a large sauce pan cook noodles in lightly salted water according to package directions, drain.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Coat casserole with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl add prepared noodles, drained chicken, and mushrooms. Stir to combine.
Blend in sour cream, milk, and seasonings.
Pour mixture into prepared casserole dish.
In a small bowl combine parmesan cheese, bread crumbs and butter. Sprinkle over noodle mixture.
Dust top of casserole with paprika if desired.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes.

Container: a deep 2 quart casserole dish or a 3 quart casserole dish

-		8 ounces egg noodles
-		12 ounces canned chicken, drained
-		1 1/2 cups sour cream (light works fine, do not use fat free)
-		1/2 cup milk
-		4 ounces canned mushrooms, drained
-		1 teaspoon salt
-		1/4 teaspoon black pepper
		TOPPING:
-		1/4 cup bread crumbs
-		1/4 cup parmesan cheese
-		2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
		Paprika, optional
