Seared Scallops - Recipe

Directions
Melt butter in a large frying pan. Wash scallops and pat dry. Salt and pepper both sides of scallops. Place in frying pan and cook on both sides 3 - 5 minutes per side. (Note: if your scallops are "wet", they will not brown). Plate 3 - 4 scallops per person and garnish with spple slivers. Drizzle with Balsamic vinegar (optional).

-1/2 stick butter
-1/4 Granny Smith apple, finely slivered
- Salt and pepper
-1 teaspoon Balsamic vinegar (optional)
