Cheesy Meatballs - Recipe

Directions
  • Preheat to 400 degrees.
  • In large bowl, whisk egg, milk, minced onion, 2 tbsp. chili powder, salt, and pepper; stir in crackers. Add beef, sausage, and cheese; mix lightly but thoroughly.
  • Shape mixture in 1 inch balls and place on greased 15x10x1 inch pan. Bake 15-18 minutes or until browned.
  • Meanwhile combine the remaining 2 tbsp. of chili powder and the rest of ingredients together.
  • Place the meatballs in a slow cooker and pour the sauce over them. Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours or until meatballs are cooked through.
  • Can be served as sandwiches, on their own as part of a meal, or as an appetizer at your next gathering.

-2 pounds ground beef
-1 pound bulk pork sausage
-2 cups shredded process cheese (Velveeta)
-1 can condensed tomato soup (26 oz.)
-2 1/2 cups water
-1 cup brown sugar (packed)
