French Toast Casserole 34 - Recipe

Preheat oven to 350°F

Lightly grease an 8x8 baking dish. Line the bottom of the pan with bread cubes. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, 2 tablespoon sugar, salt and extract. Pour the mixture over the bread; dot with butter. Let stand for 10 minutes. Combine the remaining sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, until top is golden.

Serve with syrup and fresh fruit. Serves 4 - 6 people
