Grease a 9x13 pan. Lay potatoes in the pan. Heat half and half, milk, margarine, and salt together in a sauce pan until margarine has melted. Pour over potatoes and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered 1 hour at 350 degrees.
