Scalloped Potatoes 17 - Recipe

Directions
Preheat oven to 400. Lightly grease 2 qt. baking dish.

Bring cream to a simmer. Add salt and pepper. Stir well. Add the potatoes. Lower heat to medium-low and simmer until potatoes are barely fork tender (10-12 minutes) Remove from heat.

Transfer 1/3 of potatoes to baking dish. Top with 1/3 of cheese. Layer remaining-ending in cheese.

Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

-4 cups heavy cream
-2 teaspoons salt
-1 teaspoon ground pepper
-3 pounds Idaho potatoes-peeled & sliced 1/4"
-8 ounces cheddar cheese
