Directions
Heat oil in large skillet, add onions and garlic. Cook till soft. Stir in rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat, lower heat, partially cover and simmer 1 hour. For pizza sauce, put through food press. Can be canned - water bath for 20 minutes. Enough for 2 large pizzas or large pan lasagna or spaghetti.

-4 tablespoons olive oil
-1 cup finely chopped onions
-1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
-3 cans solid pack tomato and their liquid. (6 cup or 1 1/2 quart or 3 lbs fresh tomatoes, cored, peeled & quartered (1 lb can)
-1 tablespoon basil
-1 tablespoon oregano
-1/2 teaspoon sugar
-1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-1 1/2 teaspoons salt
-1 can tomato paste (6 ounce can)
