| | Directions | | Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and mix well. Sift flour, salt, soda and spice over fruits and nuts. Mix well. Add to sugar mixture. Mix well. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls. Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes. |
